2018 Awards & Reflection

2018 Awards & Reflection

It's not polite to brag, but it is recommended to reflect. That's what we're doing with this post as one year ends and another year begins. 2018 was our biggest, most exciting year yet. Our company and community grew in so many ways, and the impact we're making together didn't go unnoticed. Our efforts were recognized through several official awards we received this year (some we didn’t even know we were in the running for). We wanted to take a moment to celebrate our accomplishments with you.

And the award goes to...

Our Co-Founder and CMO Ty Collins was named to Puget Sound Business Journal’s “40 Under 40.” The hand-selected list features the brightest and most innovative leaders in Washington State

Fun Fact: Our very own Mike Radenbaugh (Co-Founder/CEO) and Quan Ralkowski (Director of Operations) received this award in previous years.

The RadWagon was selected as a best green product for 2019 by BuildingGreen, an organization promoting sustainable development. The award not only recognizes the thoughtful design of the bike, but the importance of eco-friendly transportation.

We were voted the best in four categories of BikeToday.News’ global Readers’ Choice Awards - Best Company, Best Urban Bike (RadWagon), Best Electric Bike (RadRover/RadRhino), and Best Trike (RadBurro). Thank you to all the fans, riders, and bike enthusiasts who voted!

Rad Power Bikes topped “The Hot 100 List” of most innovative e-retail companies from around the globe. We were chosen by Internet Retailer because of our fresh direct-to-consumer approach and efforts in bringing ebikes to the masses.

Our team was also put on a list of50 Tech Companies To Knowby Built In Seattle, a growing hub for Seattle careers. The list identified companies that are “quietly working to solve incredibly difficult problems.”

But the best recognition comes from…

Our riders. There is nothing better than hearing from you. Receiving positive and constructive feedback from customers is truly what motivates and inspires us. The stories and photos you share are especially awesome!

In the new year, we will continue to strive to create the best experience for our entire community. The 2019 lineup is just one example. Every upgrade was made with you in mind - from designing a brand new ebike to bringing some of your most highly-requested features to life.

Thank you to everyone - from those who have been on this ride with us from the very beginning to those who are just joining the adventure. We are beyond excited for the year ahead.
