My husband and I are 60 somethings. We bought 2 Rovers last year. We rode them 600 miles and really enjoyed every minute but felt they were a little too much for us to handle as we are both some what “shortish” “height challenged” so we decided to purchase Minis. They are a much better fit for us! Love both Rover and Minis just more comfortable on the smaller Minis!
I sure like it’s super fun
Comfy handlebar grips. Nice being able to sit straight "in the saddle" due a shorter seat-handlebar distance and adjustable seat & handlebar heights. Easier to pedal than my mountain bike even without using assist. All controls in just the right places. Easily tow my 55-lb Goldendoodle dog in a 25-lb trailer using 0-3 assist and 3rd gear. Wife and I can't wait to ride our minis every time temp is above about 42 degrees. Well-built & sturdy bike. Wish I could add pics to this review. Only "negatives" are bike weight and a little tricky installing/removing the battery without it slipping out of my hands.
Smooth, Powerful, Excellent quality!..... and super fun to zip around on! So I bought a 2nd one!
Mid 50’s and 60’s is young enough to start a new healthy outdoor hobby! We are thoroughly enjoying riding our RAD Mini bikes! The RAD customer service and tech support is exceptional, bar none. Thanks RAD. M&M
So far, so good. Love the pedal assist. I'm just getting over a broken leg and the power to start from a dead stop is very helpful. Today I went 11 miles with the Bike Club I joined and my battery meter shows fully charged. A few more accessories and I'll be all set.
It feels rejuvenating riding bikes again with my Radmini. I get to work-out while riding a little or a lot, my choice. No hill is too steep anymore.
Sent a note last week and no reply yet. Bought two bikes in November and on the full size bike I started experiencing a "click" that I hear and feel with every revolution of the pedal. Any troubleshooting thoughts....and also, any suggested company here in SoCal if I need to take it for servicing/repair??
Fenders should be much cheaper or included on bike. The bikes throw a ton of debris at eyes. Dangerous for eyesight! 90 dollars is too expensive for a part that should be necessity for safety.
