Government ebike subsidies and grants as well as rebates from local power districts are taking off, so we’ll be updating this list to make sure you see the best opportunities for savings on your Rad purchase.
Bentonville
Bentonville eBike Rebate Program
The Bentonville E-Bike Rebate Program demonstrates the commitment Bentonville has towards alternative forms of transportation by providing safe and intuitive trail corridors and assisting its residents in purchasing bikes that best suit their needs.
Alameda
Alameda Municipal Power Service Area
Alameda Municipal Power customers can get up to $600 in rebates depending on bike price and income level. Ebikes purchased since July 1, 2022 qualify, and your receipt must be submitted with the application within 3 months of purchase. You'll receive your rebate within 1-2 months.
Bay Area
Clean Cars for All Program
Bay Area residents can get up to $7,500 towards an ebike and bike accessories (plus a transit card) by scrapping an older car meeting certain requirements, and if the person applying for the program meets certain zip code and income requirements. Contra Costa County
Contra Costa Electric Bicycle Rebate Program
Residents of Contra Costa County can get a $150 rebate from the County for a new electric bike purchase, or $300 if income-qualified. Receipt and other details must be submitted within 6 months of purchase.

Glendale Electric Bicycle Rebate
Residential customers are eligible to receive a rebate of $300 per e-bike. Customers enrolled in GWP’s Glendale Care can receive an additional $100 rebate.

Peninsula Clean Energy eBikes for Everyone
The E-Bikes for Everyone program helps eligible residents purchase or lease a new e-bike. The incentive – up to $1,000 – will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

Silicon Valley Power Electric Bicycle Rebate
Silicon Valley Power residential customers can get a rebate for 10% of the purchase price of a new ebike, up to $300 plus up to an additional $200 if income qualified. Application must be submitted within 60 days of purchase. Funding is limited, so act quickly!

See if you qualify! Individuals who are employed by the City of Santa Cruz or work in the Downtown Santa Cruz Parking District are eligible for either a $400 base rebate voucher, or an $800 income qualified rebate voucher.

Statewide
California eBike Incentive Project
The first e-bike incentive application window OPENS on December 18th at 6pm PST.
California’s first statewide e-bike voucher application window opens December 18, 2024 at 6:00PM PST, offering up to 1,500 vouchers (totaling $3 million) on a first-come, first-served basis. Interested individuals should have their documents ready for submission at that time, with the first approvals expected the following week and vouchers rolling out through December to February. Retailers are advised to sign updated Terms and Conditions (Updated September 2024) to remain an approved seller.

Denver
Denver eBike and eCargo Bike Rebate Vouchers
The program is closed for 2024. Awaiting updates on the 2025 program plans.
A limited number of e-bike rebate vouchers are available for Denver residents every other month. The rebate voucher is a point-of-sale rebate applied to the price of an e-bike or e-cargo bike from a participating bike shop. This means the rebate amount is deducted from the price of the bike when you buy it. You don’t have to submit a receipt and get reimbursed after the purchase. The city awards vouchers on a first-come, first-served basis.

Avon eBike Rebate
Full-time Avon residents can get a rebate when they purchase a new e-bike for running errands or commuting to work on new or used e-bikes. Can be applied to bike purchases made online.

Durango
LPEA Outdoor Electric Equipment Rebates and eBikes Rebates
All 2024 rebate applications MUST be received by March 20th, 2025
LPEA offers rebates to our members for purchasing outdoor electric equipment and electric bikes. Eligible equipment includes snow blower rebates, lawn mower rebates, leaf blowers rebates, trimmer/pruners rebates, power washers rebates, chainsaw rebates, and electric bike rebates.

Glenwood Springs
HCE eBike Rebate Application
Get a $50 rebate when you purchase a new e-bike for running errands or commuting to work. Head to a local retailer or order your e-bike online. Two e-bikes per household limit. To qualify for the program, you must be an active HCE member in good standing, and intend to use the e-bike to offset vehicle miles. To get your e-bike rebate, complete the online rebate application.

The Mt. Crested Butte E-bike Rebate Program is a sustainability initiative that aims to promote the use of e-bikes as a means of transportation. The program offers a rebate to Mt. Crested Butte residents who purchase an e-bike with the goal of reducing traffic congestion and promoting environmentally friendly transportation options. By incentivizing e-bike use, the program seeks to contribute to the environmental benefits of reducing carbon emissions and promoting a more sustainable community.

Statewide
Community Access to Electric Bicycles Grant Program
The goals of Boston’s E-Bikes Incentive Program are to address historic inequities in transportation access, accelerate mode shift to sustainable modes of transportation, and improve mobility options for residents. The City plans to provide approximately 1,000 vouchers ranging from $800 to $2,400 to help reduce the costs of purchasing an e-bike. Each recipient will also receive $150 toward the purchase of bicycle safety equipment.
The second round of applications will open in April, 2025.

Minnesota Electric-Assisted Bicycle eBike Rebate
The Electric-Assisted Bicycle Rebate (e-Bike Rebate) is designed to reduce the cost for Minnesota residents to buy a new e-bike at eligible retailers starting in July 2024. The e-Bike Rebate provides a discount of up to $1,500 on a qualifying e-bike. The discount is 50-75% of a buyer's qualifying expenses, depending on their income. The rebate value cannot exceed the price of the e-bike. Individuals (buyers) and retailers must apply to the Minnesota Department of Revenue to take part in the program. Total rebates are limited to $2 million per year in 2024 and 2025.

Raleigh
Raleigh E-Bike Rebate Program
E-Bike Rebate Program is an incentive program for Raleigh residents to encourage the purchase and use of electric bicycles (e-bikes). E-bikes have an electric motor that assists the rider in pedaling, making it possible to go farther, ride longer, and carry more on your bike. E-bikes can replace cars for most trips. This reduces greenhouse gas emissions and supports Raleigh's Community Climate Action Plan!
The E-Bike Rebate Program will offer a point-of-sale voucher toward the purchase of an e-bike at participating local bike shops. Eligible applicants will be permanent City of Raleigh residents who are 18 years or older at time of application. All eligible applicants can apply for a $500 voucher. Those with incomes of 80% of Area Median Income (AMI) or less will be eligible to apply for a $1,500 voucher.

Erika Niedowski Memorial Electric Bike Rebate Program
This program is in memory of Erika Niedowski in honor of a dedicated public servant, journalist and clean energy advocate. She passed away in 2020. An electric bike can take you farther and faster than a conventional bike, while still providing exercise and the exhilaration of biking. The Erika Niedowski Memorial Electric Bicycle rebate helps increase access to zero emission electric bicycles, making them more affordable and accessible to Rhode Islanders.

Austin Energy offers eligible individual customers rebates to purchase a qualifying E-bike, scooter, moped, motorcycle, or any other electric two or three-wheel vehicle. In 2023, rebates have increased up to $600 per individual E-Ride vehicle purchase for applications submitted on or after January 1, 2023, as long as the purchase was completed within the last 60 days.
Starting in 2023, Customer Assistance Program (CAP) customers are newly eligible for a rebate of up to $1,300 per individual E-Ride vehicle purchase for applications submitted on or after January 1, 2023, as long as the purchase was completed within the last 60 days.
Austin Energy offers eligible businesses and organizations rebates for E-Ride vehicle fleets numbering 5 to 25 vehicles.* In 2023, rebates have increased up to $800 per E-Ride vehicle fleet purchase for applications submitted on or after January 1, 2023, as long as the purchase was completed within the last 60 days.

eBike and Retrofit Kit Rebate
VPPSA member customers are eligible for a $100 rebate for an e-bike or retrofit kit. To qualify, the e-bike or retrofit kit must be purchased at a Vermont-based store.
