We love our RadWagon! For the price and stellar customer service its incomparable to other companies we found. Free shipping. Easy assembly with awesome videos with step by step instructions (my daughter and I assembled it w/o my husband). Well built. Great range and battery life. Easy to learn to ride, with two kids. We can’t get enough as a family and are building memories to last a lifetime. Literally. You won’t regret adding one to yours as well!
My daughter and I are just shy of 750 miles on our wagon in the last month. Our main use is our daily commute to work/ daycare and grabbing groceries on the way home. We have taken a couple longer weekend rides on it, though, and I've been impressed with the range. This is a solid bike that really has replaced the use of a car on a daily basis.
if you're in the city like me, you know, traffic is terrible. I am much happier with my life, now that i'm using the Wagon for shorter commutes. Love giving rides too! Ride friends down to the beach and everyone has such a great time! i'd write more but you can find details online.
Let me say this bike is absolutely everything that it was hyped up to be, and more! We use it from everything to hauling our almost 5 year old around, to grocery shopping and general work commuting. The battery life is great and all levels of pedal assist are useful. It’s pretty unbelievable that for the same cost as a non e-assist Kona Ute, you can get a B.A. Radwagon. The only issue we have at all is, the rear spokes seem to come loose pretty quickly. I’m guessing it has to do with the electric hub, but still not that big of a deal. I will make note that you’ll want a professional to assemble the bike, not because building it is difficulty, but almost everything needed adjustment, from the brake levers to derailleur to rotors and calipers. All in all, amazing buy and fully loaded to boot!
I've been an avid cyclist and bike commuter for over a decade, even biking through two pregnancies. This second time postpartum, I had the wrinkle of two separate preschool/daycare drop-offs, so it was no longer feasible for my husband to handle it by himself to enable me to bike sans kids. We ended up buying a second car, and I spent 3 months driving to preschool/work, which was a real bummer. Now, thanks to my RadWagon and Yepp seat, I have my commute back AND I get to skip the preschool pick-up lines! My toddler LOVES it, and between school drop-offs and playground runs, we replaced 77 miles of driving in week 1 alone. I was a bit skeptical of e-bikes going into this, but I am a convert. The e-assist allows me to bike every day without getting burnt out, since I can just dial the pedal assist level up and down to suit my energy levels. Despite being a huge, stable, heavy beast, it still has a zip too it thanks to the motor, and is absolutely a blast to ride. Love it! Highly recommend!!
I purchased this bike for my son, who is a junior at Kent State University. It is the first and only bike of that type at Kent. My son tells me that whenever he parks the bike people ask him questions; such as where he bought it, how much it costs; where is fabricated and how fast it goes. He is becoming popular at campus. He is very grateful for this bike because it allows him to get to the classroom from his dorm in few minutes without being tired or sweaty. I am considering buying another RadWagon for myself.
I ride this bike every day- and usually with one or both of my small children on the back. They love it, I enjoy riding it and avoiding a lot of traffic. Our family is very satisfied with the RadWagon!
It's time to sell the car, and my old bike. We ride our RadWagon's every day, and absolutely love them. Carry two little kids to and from school, then ride to work. Super comfy, really fun, all around great bike. A couple weird/cheap components, but I'll take that for $1,500 compared to $5,000 for the competition.
We live in Bend, OR, and bought a Radwagon to take our 4 year old son to/from pre-K school. It has turned into some of the best time we spend together, exploring new routes, laughing, stopping at construction sites, and talking about our days. I didn't realize it would become his favorite "toy" that we also use to take laps around the neighborhood, make trips to the store, and cruise alongside his mom during her long runs. It has also replaced my car as the primary work commuter. Price, value, and quality are all unmatched, but the quality time with my son doing something we both love is priceless. Thank you Rad Power Bikes!
Having a lot of fun with my Cargo Bike. My purpose for buying was to be able to take my two children (9 years old/50lbs and 5 years old/40lbs) to and from two different schools, two days a week. Thus far, it has worked out great! I'm also using it for various errands and appointments throughout the day. While our family of four has one car, I am using this bike to postpone/avoid wasting money on a second car. In addition, I've noticed the following benefits:
1. Parking is a huge issue in my city. Now I go places at times I might have avoided in the past because I know I can "find a space."
2. Traffic is also a huge issue. While the bike is not as fast as a car during off hours, it is oftentimes as fast, or potentially faster during the afternoon rush hour, which is getting worse every year.
3. It's easy to adjust the level of assistance. Before I bought the bike, I was worried I wouldn't get any much-needed exercise. But, since I'm using the bike so much (8-10 miles a day, usually), I feel like I'm getting good exercise.
4. Helping the environment. With all the news about global warming, I feel like I'm in some small way helping by keeping another car off the road.
5. Saving money. I was looking at an electric car to help with #4, but at $1500 vs $45000 for a Tesla Model 3, pricewise there is no competition.
