Back in the days before energy-laden fruit snacks, helmets, or full-body blood swaps to win races, many a creative type were hard at work concocting the bikes and ebikes we know today. They iterated, improved, and sometimes struck out, but these pioneers made possible the fun-machines we know today.
Because it's Bike Everywhere Day, we thought it polite to give a shout out to our bike ancestors and highlight a few of the major milestones, technological feats, and moments of human greatness achieved along the way.
