That's because each of our ebikes comes standard with a 750W geared hub/direct-drive motor powered by a 48V, 14 Ah (672 Wh) removable Lithium-Ion battery pack. (Try saying all of that 10 times fast!)
But how far can you expect your electric bike battery to take you?
Generally, the battery gives the bikes an expected range between 25-45 miles on a single charge depending on the level of pedal assist, terrain, and rider size.

Going the Distance
There are a few factors that can affect how far you can get on a single charge, ranging from how often you use your throttle to the incline of the hills you're taking on to the weight of the cargo you're hauling.
Basically, any time the motor needs to use more power to get you where you need to be, it's going to be pulling more from the battery.
Your ebike's LCD display will show you roughly how long you can expect your battery to last based on the current state of your ride. This handy feature prevents you from being caught by surprise and gives you an opportunity to figure out when you can start pedaling more or throttling less in order to extend your ride.
Charge Anywhere
You can top off your battery, even when you're far away from your bike. The battery is easily detachable and the charger that is included with your bike can plug into any standard wall outlet.
Charging the battery from empty to full can take between 3-7 hours, but if you're just looking for a little extra juice, plug it in for an hour when you're hanging out at your local coffee shop or bring it with you to work and charge it throughout the day.
