The RadMini is a great option if you want many of the same features as the RadMini Step-Thru but geared more towards all-terrain riding.
Great experience I'm glad I did my homework and ordered a rad mini step through to
My previous Rad Mini had a bar I would have to lift my leg quite high to get on the bike (I’m about 5’2”). It wasn’t a problem until I injured my back. Now I can ride my bike again without having to twist my back. I’m so glad I have the step-thru. I can ride with ease. I’ve also added the Suntour seat post that absorbs additional shock absorption to the bike making it a dream to ride. I am so glad Rad made a step-thru model for people like me.
I love my bike. I recently retired and wanted to fix up my old bike so I could get out an exercise more. My son said that the old bike wasn’t worth fixing, and that I should consider getting the RAD. So, we both decided to do it. Not only am I riding, but I get to spend more time with him cruising and enjoying the scenery. Thank you so much!
This bike is just what I thought it would be...FUN! It is well balanced, fast and simple to put together out of the box. I’ve had a very minor electrical sound coming from under the seat but working through it with quick response via emails. Highly recommend this well built Rad!
I purchased Rover in December, love it! Got my wife a regular bike to see if she liked biking enough to get an ebike. She liked it but doesn't have the leg strength to manage the north Alabama hills. We decided to get the mini st, loves it but the weight takes some getting used to especially for some 70+ yos. Will post again after more time with it.
We've had our Radmini for a month and love it. This bike allows my wife to keep up with me. We've gone 11 miles on our longest ride so far. This was so enjoyable because it took the physical limitations out of the picture. The Radmini is the right size for my wife. She tried the Rad Rover and it was too big. The step through model was also the best choice.
The only complaint is the timeliness of getting support. The phone is always busy and the email takes an average of 4 days to get an answer. When they do answer it has always been great. I get what I asked for.
Extremely strong hinge, water bottle holder which isn’t present on rad mini 4 (which I also own). Battery is easier to remove and wiring is inside the frame (versus rad mini 4).
Have been riding approx 50-60 miles/week. Works absolutely beautiful.
Everything I thought it would be. As a shorter, older person this has been the perfect bike for me!! Would highly recommend this bike to anyone.
